Mutton Pepper Jeera Fry (Goat Lamb)

Mutton Pepper Jeera Fry,is a simple mutton recipe that can be made easily by bachelors who are new to cooking.

Ingredients:

For Cook Mutton:

  • (1 lb) 450-500 gms Mutton pieces(Goat/Lamb)
  • 5 Small onion
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • ¾ tsp Garlic paste
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼-½ tsp Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

For Grind Powder:

  • ½ tsp oil
  • 2 tsp Pepper corn
  • 2 tsp Jeera seeds
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon
  • 3 cloves

For Dry Fry:

  • 3 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Grind powder (or) to taste
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Fennel seeds powder
  • 2 sticks Curry leaves chopped
  • Cooked mutton with water
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped

Method:

  1. In a pressure cooker, add oil, small onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, mutton pieces and water and mix well.
  2. Cover with the lid and cook for 16-18 whistle. 20 mins resting time to open.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add pepper, jeera seeds, cinnamon sticks and cloves to roast for 2-3 mins. 10 mins resting time to grind a fine powder.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add grinded powder, turmeric powder, fennel seeds powder and curry leaves mix well and roasted.
  5. Immediately, add cooked mutton pieces with water stir well till they turn dry consistency.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Mutton Pepper Jeera Fry is ready now.

Take mutton pieces,turmeric powder,chilli powder,salt,ginger garlic paste,small onion,tomato and sesame oil.

 

2nd

In a pressure cooker, add oil, small onion, tomato and ginger garlic paste.

 

3rd

Add mutton pieces.

 

4th

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.

 

5th

Add water and mix well.

 

6th

Cover with the lid and cook for 16-18 whistle.20 mins resting time to open.

 

10th

Heat oil in a pan, add pepper,jeera,cinnamon sticks and cloves roast for 2-3 mins.

 

11th

Cool down.

 

12th

Grind a fine powder.

 

13th

Take cooked mutton pieces with water,grinded powder,turmeric powder,fennel seeds powder,curry leaves and coriander leaves.

 

14th

Heat oil in a pan. Add grinded powder.

 

15th

Add turmeric powder and fennel seeds powder and mix well.

 

16th

Add curry leaves.

 

17th

Add cooked mutton pieces with water.

 

18th

Saute for dry consistency.Garnish with coriander leaves.Mutton Pepper Jeera Fry is ready now.
