Lamb/Goat Brain, is a tasty recipe and one of the famous non-veg recipe in tamilnadu.Lamb/Goat Brain goes well with dosa.

Preparation time: 3 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins

Serving: 1-2

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lamb/goat brain
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 12 Small onion
  • 3 sticks Curry leaves chopped
  • 1 spn Fennel seeds powder
  • 1 Cardamom
  • 2 Cloves
  • ½ tsp Ginger paste
  • ¼ Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Water
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped

Method:                             

  1. In a blender, add onion, fennel seeds powder, cardamom, cloves, ginger paste to grind a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves, grind fine paste and sauté for 2 mins or raw smell goes out.
  3. And then add turmeric powder, salt, brain, sprinkle of water and mix gently and cook for 5 mins.
  4. Add pepper powder to mix gently.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Lamb/Goat Brain is ready now.

1st

Take small onion,fennel seeds powder,ginger paste,cloves and cardamom,curry leaves chopped,pepper powder,turmeric powder,salt and coriander leaves finely chopped.

 

2nd

In blender, add small onion,cloves,cardamom,ginger paste and fennel seeds powder to grind a fine paste.

 

3rd

Take brain small pieces,grind paste,coriander leaves,curry leaves,pepper powder,turmeric powder and salt.

 

4th

Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves.

 

5th

Add grinded paste and saute for raw smell goes out.

 

 

6th

Add turmeric powder and mix well.

 

7th

Add salt and mix well.

 

8th

Masala raw smell goes out.

 

9th

Add brain pieces and then just fold it.

 

10th

Add 1 tsp of water to sprinkle.

 

11th

Add pepper powder.

 

12th

Garnish with coriander leaves.Lamb/Goat Brain is ready now.
