Coriander Chutney

Coriander Chutney, is a very tasty and easy coriander chutney.This chutney goes well with sandwiches , snacks, idli and dosa.

Ingredients:

  • ½ half bunch Coriander leaves
  • 20 Small onion
  • ¾ tsp Jeera seeds
  • 1 Red chillies
  • 3 tsp Shredded Coconut
  • Tamarind size (1/4 Lemon size)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Oil

To Temper:                                                                                

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
  • ¼ tsp Urad dal
  • 1 stick Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera seeds, small onion and sauté for 2 mins.
  2. Add coriander leaves, red chillie, shredded coconut, tamarind size and salt and sauté for 2 mins.
  3. Cool down and then add into the blender, add water to grind a fine paste, transfer into the bowl.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
  5. Add into the chutney.
  6. Coriander Chutney is ready now.

1st

Take small onion,coriander leaves,salt,jeera seeds,red chillie,shredded coconut and tamarind.

 

2nd

Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera seeds.

 

3rd

Add small onion and saute for 2 mins.

 

4th

Add coriander leaves and saute for a min.

 

5th

Add red chilli.

 

6th

Add shredded coconut and tamarind and saute for a min.

 

7th

Add salt and mix well and cool down.

 

8th

Transfer into the blender and then add water to grind a fine paste.

 

9th

Grinded fine Chutney.

 

10th

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.And then transfer into the chutney.

 

11th

Coriander Chutney is ready now.
