Chilli Chicken Dry

Chilli Chicken Dry is a popular indo-chinese dish of chicken.Chilli Chicken Dry,Chilli Chicken Gravy or Chilli Chicken Semi Gravy all are in different taste but all ingredients are same. It depend on how it’s cooked.

Its perfectly restaurant style but no additives like ajinomoto,extra sauces like green chilli sauce,red chilli sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Big onion cubes(or) chopped
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 green chilli (center split lite)
  • Capsicum(Bell Pepper) cubes (or) chopped
  • ¾ tsp Ginger paste
  • ½ tsp Garlic paste
  • ¼ tsp Chilli powder(or)to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • ¾ tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 ½ tsp Tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup Water
  • Spring onion as required

For Marination:

  • 250 gms (1/2 lb)Chicken boneless
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • ¾ tsp Ginger paste
  • ½ tsp Garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 ½ tsp Corn flour
  • 3 tsp All purpose flour/maida
  • ½ tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Water

Method:

  1. In a bowl, add chicken, soy sauce, ginger garlic paste, salt, sugar, pepper powder, corn flour, all purpose flour, vinegar, water mix well and marination for 30 mins.
  2. Take oven tray , arrange the marinated chicken, sprinkle the oil 1 tsp top of the chicken. Bake for 20 mins 450 degree F heat. Its sticky but no problem.(or) deep fry (or)sauté.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic sauté for a min and then add green chilli,onion till sauté for light golden color in low flame.
  4. Add capsicum and sauté for 5 mins. And add ginger garlic paste sauté for 2 mins.
  5. Add chilli powder, salt, sugar mix well and sauté for a min.
  6. Add soy sauce and tomato sauce mix well and cook for 2 mins and then add water mix well cook for 3 mins.
  7. Add chicken mix well and toss it for dry consistency.
  8. Garnish with spring onion.
  9. Chilli Chicken Dry is ready now.

Add corn flour.

Add all purpose flour(maida).

Cover and marination chicken.

Take oven tray and place marinated chicken.sprinkle 1 tsp oil on the top of chicken.

Bake 450 degree F for 20 mins (or) deep fry (or) saute.

Take baked chicken (or) deep fry chicken (or) saute.

 

13th

Take chopped onion,chopped capsicum,finely chopped garlic,green chilli,soy sauce,tomato sauce,ginger garlic paste,chilli powder,salt,sugar.

 

14th

Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic saute for 2 mins.

 

15th

Add green chilli.

 

16th

Add chopped onion saute for till turns light golden color in low flame.

 

17th

Add ginger garlic paste saute raw smell goes out. Add capsicum saute for 5 mins.

 

18th

Add chilli powder,salt,sugar mix well and saute for a min.

 

19th

Add soy sauce and tomato sauce and cook for 3 mins.

 

20th

Add water.

 

21st

Add chicken and cook for dry consistency.

 

22nd

Garnish with spring onion.Chilli Chicken Dry is ready now.
