Cauliflower Fry(Roasted Fry)

Cauliflower Fry

Cauliflower fry is a very easy and super vegetarian dish.Cauliflower fry is equal to the non-vegetarian dishes.


  • ¾ tsp Fennel seeds powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala powder (or) (1 pinch cardamom powder,
  • ½ tsp Ginger paste                   1 pinch cloves powder,1 pinch cinnamon powder)
  • ¼ tsp Garlic paste
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam masala powder(again)
  • ¼ tsp Curry masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • ¼ cup Water

For Blanch:

  • Water as needed
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 medium size Cauliflower


  1. Heat water in a pan at boiling point. Add turmeric powder and salt to blanch the cauliflower.keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add fennel seeds powder, garam masala powder and then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min.
  3. Add blanched cauliflower, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, curry masala powder and salt to mix well.
  4. Add water and cover with the lid and cook for 5 mins.
  5. Open the lid and sauté for till cauliflower dry.
  6. Heat 2 tsp oil in a non-stick pan. Add dry cauliflower for till roasted cauliflower in low flame.
  7. Cauliflower Fry is ready now.

Add salt.


Add cauliflower for blanch.


Heat oil in a pan.Add fennel seeds powder and garam masala powder(or) cinnamon powder,cardamom powder and cloves powder.


Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.


Add blanched cauliflower.


Add turmeric powder,coriander powder,chilli powder, garam masala powder,curry masala powder.


Add salt and mix well.


Add water.


Cover with the lid for 5 mins and open the lid and cook for some more mins.


Till cauliflower dry.


Heat oil in a non-stick pan.


Add cauliflower dry.


In low flame and saute for roasted cauliflower.Cauliflower fry is ready now.
