Aloo Tikki

Aloo Tikki, is a very popular snack in all over india that can be made in a different of ways.Aloo tikki is crisp outside and soft inside.Aloo tikki, taste is very unique and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Boiled Potatoes
  • 8 Bread slices
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • ¼ tsp Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

Onion stuffing (or) Mutton keema:

  • 10 Small onion finely chopped
  • 2 pinch Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Chilli powder
  • 3 pinch Garam masala powder
  • 1 stick Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add small onion finely chopped and sauté for change the light color.
  2. And then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and mix well then add coriander leaves finely chopped.
  3. Cool down and then add salt and mix well.
  4. Take boiled potatoes and smashed well and then add chilli powder and salt.
  5. Take bread slices and cut the edges.
  6. Dip the bread slices in a bowl of water and squeeze the water off.
  7. Mix with the potatoes mixture. Mix well and using your hands.
  8. Using your palm, take the bread and potato mix and then spread into pattie shape and fill the stuffing in the center and fold it.
  9. Roll it with bread crumbs and then deep fry.
  10. Aloo Tikki is ready now.

1st

Take smashed potato mix with chilli powder and salt. Then take small onion sauted with green chilli,chilli powder and garam masala.

 

2nd

Take bread slices and cut the edges.

 

3rd

Dip the bread slices in a bowl of water and squeeze the water off.

 

4th

Mix it with the potatoes mixture.

 

5th

Mix well and using your hands.

 

6th

Using your palm, take the bread and potato mix and then spread into a pattie shape and fill the stuffing in the center.

 

7th

Fold it.

 

8th

Roll it with bread crumbs and then deep fry.
